CONFIDENCE. DISCIPLINE. COMMUNITY.
LADNER AND TSAWWASSEN’S HOME FOR BOXING
37 Boxing Club started with a simple idea. Build something real in the Tsawwassen area.
Not just a gym space to workout, but a place where people can push themselves, build confidence, and feel part of something bigger in the community.
The name “37” comes from family origins and coincidentally boxing rules. It represents a legacy that’s been carried through generations.
Started in 2023, this has been a family run club. Built from the ground up with long hours, small classes, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Our connection with the Tsawwassen First Nation is a big part of who we are. Through youth programs, partnerships, and community involvement, we’ve partnered to build something that goes beyond the gym.
37 Boxing isn’t just classes. We’ve hosted events, built real relationships, and shared milestones together. Boxing events, 5K runs, bike rides, soccer scrimmages, softball games. And it doesn’t stop when class ends. Weekends are for showing up together. Supporting each other at fights, traveling as a club, being part of something bigger than just yourself.
In 2025, 37 Boxing Club was named a finalist for Business of the Year by the Delta Chamber of Commerce. It’s a reflection of the standard we hold and the people who continue to build this with us.
And we’re just getting started.
We build bodies. We change lives.
MEET RICH
Richard Mulcaster is the Co-Founder of 37 Boxing Club, a family run gym built on discipline, confidence, and community.
His boxing journey started at Tony Pep’s Boxing Gym, and continued through Queensborough Boxing Gym and Sugar Ray’s Boxing Gym, where he developed his foundation in the sport.
Richard is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, combining technical boxing knowledge with structured strength and conditioning. His programs are built with purpose. He focuses on speed, agility, quickness, and plyometric training to help members move better, stay sharp, and perform at a high level both inside and outside the gym. Every program is designed to challenge people, while still meeting them where they are and building them up over time.
His coaching style is direct, high energy, and focused on results. He blends proper technique with conditioning that pushes every member to improve, no matter their starting point.
At 37 Boxing Club, Richard has built more than just a gym. Alongside his family, his business partner Jimmy, and the coaching team, he has created a tight knit community with strong ties to the Tsawwassen First Nation. It is a place where athletes of all ages can build confidence both inside and outside the gym.
In 2025, 37 Boxing Club was named a finalist for Business of the Year by the Delta Chamber of Commerce.
Whether working with adults looking to challenge themselves, stay sharp, or try something new, Richard’s mission stays the same.
We build bodies. We change lives.
MEET JIMMY
Jimmy Lin is the Co-Founder of 37 Boxing Club, built alongside Richard Mulcaster with a shared vision of creating a high-level, community-driven boxing environment rooted in discipline, confidence, and growth.
His boxing journey began in 2013 at Beyond Boxing Club in Burnaby, BC, where he trained as an amateur competitor under Boxing BC. Over the past decade, Jimmy has developed deep experience across the sport, from athlete to coach to cornerman, working within both amateur and professional boxing environments across British Columbia.
Jimmy is an NCCP-certified Boxing BC coach, aligned with Boxing Canada standards at the national and Olympic level. His coaching approach is rooted in strong fundamentals, combining technical precision with structured progression to support athletes of all levels, from beginners stepping into boxing for the first time to experienced individuals refining their craft.
His style is direct, social, and system-oriented, with a focus on building proper foundations first. He believes that confidence, performance, and long-term growth all stem from mastering the basics and progressing with intention.
Outside the gym, Jimmy brings a strong business and operational background, working as a consultant with leading global brands including Lululemon Athletica and Arc’teryx. He applies this experience to help shape 37 Boxing Club’s structure, systems, and long-term vision, ensuring the gym is not only a place to train, but a sustainable and growing community.
At 37 Boxing Club, Jimmy’s mission is simple:
Build strong foundations. Develop real confidence. Create an environment where people can grow. Inside and outside the gym.
Discipline. Confidence. Community.
